Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in New Boston, MI.

Time

It was taken about 9am in the morning.

Lighting

It was a partly cloudy day so the lighting was very soft.

Equipment

I took this photo with my Nikon D5200. I was using my telephoto lens 55mm-300mm

Inspiration

I have driven past this barn so often with not much thought about it. One day I looked over at it and even though there is a house not to far away I noticed that this barn looks almost abandoned. I passed it a few more times and thought that it really looked interesting with the foliage filling in the areas around it.

Editing

At this time I was only using the free photo touch up program with Windows so all I had done was brighten the color up a little.

In my camera bag

I usually have my telephoto lens on my camera and a kit lens in my camera bag.

Feedback

Never dismiss anything as subject for a good photo op. A lot of times it will be something you really weren't planning on that will be a great photo.
