I took this photo at The Henry Ford Museum. This was outside in the Greenfield Village exhibit, I can’t remember which house this was though.Time
I remember seeing this house after hours of walking around the museum, it was probably 2 or 3 in the afternoon. We wanted to go home, but there was still so much to see.Lighting
It was gloomy. It had been cloudy and raining all day, and if it weren’t for the weather I don’t think this photo would have turned out the way it did.Equipment
This was before I got a camera. All I had on me was something that most people carry on them daily, my smartphone. I had a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 at the time.Inspiration
White picket fence, old house on a hill, crappy weather, what’s not to like??Editing
Just some minor editing from my phone. In my camera bag
I’m very new to photography so I don’t have much equipment. I just recently got a “real” camera. Sony a6100. And I have my smartphone, iPhone 11 Pro Max.Feedback
You see something you like, snap a picture. Even if it’s not a “good” picture, you’ll have it for your memories. Most of my favorite pictures I’ve taken I didn’t like until after I edited them. That’s where the real magic happens. Helps set the mood.
