very good intuition, I like the sand wavelet and the square frame too. I see two little "problems" to pinpoint, the two black and light areas without details, I suggest you to revise the shot starting from the raw file trying to keep details visible in every area of the frame. obviously this is only my point of view and I don't expect you to agree with this opinion but I would be very interested to see the revised image if you should agree.
