I took this photo in Chino,CA at Prado Regional Park at the El Prado VW Show and Shine this past June.Time
At the time this photo was taken it was about to be noon. Thanks to "June Gloom" the clouds were blocking the harsh sunlight that you would usually get at this time. Which worked great in my favor,because they are showing these cars they get detailed and so shiny its blinding especially when the sun beats down the camera picks up the sun and you get pictures with sun streaks right through them.Lighting
This is all Natural lighting no flash, no reflectors just timing. Timing is key when you are using natural light.Equipment
I actually took this with my iPhone 6, I take a lot of my pictures with my iPhone. I think you can take pictures with any type of camera and make it work.Inspiration
I am a Car Enthusiast mostly older Volkswagens, I tend to take a lot of pictures of the cars I see at shows. I like to share them online so people that are not able to come can still see the cars and feel like they are there. Also it becomes a conversation starter for people that have never been to a show or someone who hasn't been to a show in a long time to come out and enjoy my hobby with me.Editing
Before I put out any of my work I do do some slight editing a little bit of brightening, color correcting, and sharpening here and there. I like to have a crisp picture where its needed unless intended to be blurred.In my camera bag
Well I'm always on the go so I usually have just my iPhone with me, Occasionally I bring my lenses that work for iPhone. Other than that I bring an open mind and an eye for art.Feedback
Honestly think outside of the box look at things with different perspectives,if you look at a lot of my photos I take pictures from different angles, up close etc. I want someone to look at my pictures and see something they didn't see before. Take pictures of things you enjoy, look at your whole surrounding. Don't rely on editing later you can edit as your taking the picture, if its possible take things out you don't like, you can crop by standing closer, back- up get the whole scene. Guaranteed if you keep looking you will find something new every time.
