Location
The photo was taken very close to Leptokaria's (Pieria, Central Macedonia, Greece) railway station.Time
As I can recall, the time was about 11.00 - 12.00am.Lighting
It was a shinny (early) spring day with a clear - white light, a typical Greek light, for those who know.Equipment
I used one of my favourite cameras, the lightweight E330 with the remarkable (for a kit lens) Zuiko f3.5-5.6 / 14-45mm lens. Also I use a Mets 28AF(O) flash to give a shinny and a bit 3D look(?) to the rooster.Inspiration
The saturated yellow and red colours grabed my eye and a few seconds later I was watching the rooster, who just jumped on the ledge and start walking slowly, as a king !Editing
Yes, but not much. I always shoot in Raw archives, so it allows me to keep the details of whites or else the light colours. Then in CS6 I process them whith curves, levels etc.In my camera bag
Actually I fave five.... bags. That day I had the one with the E-330 + the kit lens (as above described), the Sigma f3.5-5.6 / 55-200mm lens and the small but wonderful Metz flashgun,a DIY diffuser and a couple of filters, like a UVA, polarizers and ND filters.Feedback
There are so many details around us and the only thing that someone can do, to shoot a nice picture, is to be relaxed, to be in a good mood and to be always observative. Good luck !
