Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in Cleveleys in Lancashire. On the 27th May 2016.

Time

It was took as the sun was setting about 9pm. Me and my partner were getting ready for a night time fishing stint, as we were at the car collecting our equiptment the sky had a lovely dusky purple blue with orange clouds. I love the sea and the sky and this picture captured both of them also the reflection on the pebble beach. My initial thought was that it would make a beautiful background on my laptop.

Lighting

Dusk is the perfect time to capture the light right no flash just scene setting.

Equipment

My shot was took very simple with no extra equipment other than my Canon EOS 1200D with 18-55mm lens. Simple, like nature simply beautiful!

Inspiration

The sea and sky are two of my most favourite things, so along with the colours in the sky and my two favourite things seemed like an excellent photo and a super memory to keep. A photo is not a picture~ it is a moment in time.

Editing

No

In my camera bag

I just go light handed camera on my arm with the lens all ready to shoot.

Feedback

Nothing I can say other than if the setting looks beautiful to you get out your camera and shoot. Never take just one always take a few in different positions and zooms and change your aperture when you look back u will always find that perfect shot! Don't put too much thinking into it, nature is beautiful and if you can see it so will your camera! Good luck
