An Appalachian Barn and Garden in Haywood County, North Carolina.
It's called Hand Me Downs because Appalachia is a place where Family Heirlooms are passed down; Everything from Farms to Grandma's Heirloom Gladiolus Bulbs and nobody can bear to get rid of Grandpa's old truck.

Location
This photo was taken in the Fines Creek Community of Haywood County, North Carolina.Time
I was roaming the backroads and happened across this scene. It was late evening in july at approximately 8:45 p.m.Lighting
The lighting was all natural as direct sunlight had left the scene.Equipment
I used my very first DSLR, A Canon EOS 30D, which was given to me by a friend. I had my Canon 50mm f/2.8 lens on and decided to shoot it in a leading line portrait style, if that makes sense. I shot in manual, ISO 125, f/5.6, 1/80 Second, Handheld.Inspiration
My passion is anything Appalachian. As in the title, the photo depicts the Green Family Barn as well as the old pickup truck and gladiola's. The significance is that all three were handed down by generations before them.Editing
I utilized basic adjustments in Lightroom 6.In my camera bag
I now shoot with a Canon EOS 70D DSLR. My lenses are the 50mm f/1.8 as well as a Canon 10-18mm Ultrawide, Canon 24mm f/2.8 and Canon 70-300 Telephoto Lens. I also use an Oben tripod. Pretty basic stuff.Feedback
