This is a 17th century cannon port, taken in Nafplio, Greece. This photo was taken at the top of the beautiful Fortress of Palamidi.
I find this photo interesting because once it was used for war and devastation, but now i only see the beauty of the eye of the cannon hole letting in a glimpse of the alluring Aegean Sea.
