This image was taken by me on the streets of Indian Holy City of Pushkar, I was haveing my breakfast at a street outlet when this street musician. came across, I invited him to join me and while we had our meal he played earthy desert tunes on his ektara (A single String instrument) and i was taking his picturtes.Time
This was about 0900 in the morning, the previous day Ihad spent tracking Tigers at Ranthambore and driven the Night toreach Pushkar and hence a rather late breakfast.Lighting
This was in the desert with harsh light but since we were in a narrow street, the angle of approach helped get the desired effectEquipment
This shot was taken with a Canon 600D and a 50 mm canon Nifty fifty.Inspiration
The grace and expression on the face of the subject and his obvious pride in his music.Editing
No.In my camera bag
My equipment depends on the trip but these days normally I have Fujifilm XS10 with 57mm, 10-24 and 16-80 for street and portraits. I also carry a Canon R6 with a 800mm F11 for wildlife. I also normally carry a Fujifilm 100-400 for closer work during wildlife.Feedback
The mood and subject is more important than the light, on the street light will rarely be of your liking and therefor you need to work with the available light. Each Scene is different and each photographer looks at it differently.
