Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at the foot of the south pier at Blyth harbour in Northumberland, that separates the harbour from Sth Beach.

Time

Taken mid morning on a dull, damp, cold day.

Lighting

The light was blue-grey and dull. Made the colour soft which helps with the feel of the image.

Equipment

Canon 5d kindle with 17-40 f4L lens.

Inspiration

I liked the angles and the soft light showed the colours and texture in the timbers.

Editing

Just standard processing in lightroom.

In my camera bag

2 5d ii bodies and 3 lenses plus filters.

Feedback

Don't be frightened to take pictures in bad weather. They can sometimes produce good results.
