This epic tornado, that approached Dodge City Kansas on May 24, 2016, was documented as spawning at least 12 and possibly 16 funnels during 90 minutes on the ground. I saw it form and followed it until its hot air supply was cut off by a fast moving storm that dropped cold rain and hail in its path. Dodge City was thereby spared of much worse damage.
