We took a trek all over the Badlands of South Dakota, hunting freaky formations and overlooks to find this. The Coyotes were howling, getting louder by the minute. Thankfully the Milky Way lined up perfectly with this formation before too long.

Staying in the Winds for a few nights, and we were fortunate enough to have clear skies while the milky way was out.

Great late night hike with my girlfriend and dog to Bear Lake, just south of Estes Park, CO.

My girlfriend and I took the dog out on a steep New Year's Day hike. Boy does that altitude hit you quick!
