Location
I took this photo on the outside of the "wallen city" in Cartagena - Colombia. I´m a colombian and this is one of the best looking cities and with most history of my country.Time
It was about 5:30 pm when I took it.Lighting
I decide to enhace a little the shades the sun was giving me and only wanted to show the siluetes of the buldings.Equipment
It was just me and my loyal nikon d5200, with the standard lense.Inspiration
I just love to photograph the sunsets and sunrises, and in this scenario, the very particular buldings helped a lot to give structure to the photo.Editing
Yes, as I said before, I enhanced the color of the sky turning it more violet and decreased the ilumination on the buildings to get only their siluete. In my camera bag
As I´m just starting, I only have my nikon with the traditional 18-55, a couple of SD´s a microphone and an extra battery.Feedback
The best time to capture this kind of pictures (sunset and sunrise) is in the precious "golden hour" (as many may know) wich changes according to the time of the year. It´s usually 30 minutes to 1 hour before the sun hides or after it came out.
