Location
I took this photo in Amritsar, Punjab(india) . It is called golden temple, one of the most renowned gurudwara for the Sikh. I was on vacation with family . My camera was new. And the first trip I took it to. A self taught photographer.Time
It was at 4 in the morning.Lighting
I knew that more than the daylight, this temple is extremely mesmerizing after it gets dark due to the decorated lights. It was the perfect time.Equipment
Canon 70D with canon50mm(1.8) lens. No flash. No tripod.Inspiration
I always adored the way people are willing to volunteer in gurudwaras. Whether it comes to catering. Cleaning. Guarding. . It makes you feel close to humanity. And the khalsa guards in their yellow turbans are there to show you right from wrong when it comes to behaviour in the temple, in a very decent and polite way.the yellow and golden release very positive energies.Editing
I prefer minimum post work. If at all necessary, crop a little. Otherwise I prefer framing it properly during the shoot. Apart from that, little enhancing of colors. In my camera bag
I havey camera(canon 70d)and three lenses(50mm , 18-135, 10-22)Feedback
I would suggest pick elements that symbolise what you want to show. I love the details personally. I wanted to show the positivity and the fresh vibe that this place had given me. You automatically feel at peace. I knew the golden and the yellow that symbolises Sikhs was the perfect way.
