Location
The photo was taken in La Union, Davao Oriental, Philippines. It was the 2nd day of our 3-day hitchhiking adventure and we visited this fishing community. This tree has been uprooted a year before our visit by a super typhoon called Pablo.Time
This was taken a couple of hours before sunset. The sun was brightly shining while beginning to take a dip in the sea.Lighting
I always love silhouettes. It makes almost everything mysterious. Even though this was taken midday, I realized that pointing my camera towards sun while my subject is directly in the middle of my source of light and the camera, I can get a really good picture. It also helped that my friends are all for the fun, they helped prevent the photo from becoming spooky.Equipment
I am not a photographer but I have a passion for taking still images. I used a mobile phone for this shot. Asus Zenfone2.Inspiration
When we arrived at this place by hitchhiking, I realized that we are like characters from Lord of the Flies and Peter Pan. So, when I got this picture, I was unable to stop myself from calling it 'Lost Boys'Editing
No. I don't remember editing this picture. In my camera bag
I have 2 phones. I use them for mobile photography. One is an iPhone 6s plus and the other is the zenfone2Feedback
I don't really have any advice because I feel like I am not a master of my craft yet. Just point and shoot and learn during the process.
