Behind The Lens

Location

At Bowen Park in Nanaimo B.C., Canada.

Time

Early afternoon.

Lighting

No, the lighting was good and the duck was totally comfortable to have his picture taken.

Equipment

Canon EOS DSLR.

Inspiration

The colouring of the duck and the fact that he/she posed for it.

Editing

No.

In my camera bag

I now use a Nikon D3200 with an Sigma 18-250mm lens and an AF-S Micro Nikkor 40mm..

Feedback

I've found that the more one goes out to parks, beaches, nature trails, ecological reserves, the more opportunities will arise for interesting pictures. Our flower garden and potted flowers at home are also a good place to practice using the different lens' under differing conditions.
