This still frame is from a conceptual interrelated media project called Dreamland. I asked two improv dancers to interpret the state of dreaming and chose the setting of an east coast beach at sunrise. The result was an abstract narrative I discovered whilst editing the footage, to which I then created a musical score. The sunrise gave a wonderful natural color scheme to play up, and I enjoy extracting still frames to edit in Photoshop even though the project is considered complete.
