Nice shot, and obviously a lot of people like it, including me.. Congratulations! That said, my first reaction was to crop it. Nothing's happening in the sky, and if you crop the right third of your picture, you have a much stronger leading line with the creek. Please forgive me if I'm out of line. This is not something I normally do. I just saw a different way to look at your most excellent photograph. Tom..

Location
The Photo was taken at Beechworth Gorge in northern Victoria, Australia. I went away on a camping trip, with partner and friends and was told to check out this place! I'm so glad I did.Time
It was taken around 6 pm daylight savings timeLighting

At the time of taking this photo I'd recently upgraded my camera from a Canon 600D to a Canon 5D iii, I used the kit lens 24-105 f4L. Tripod I use a manfrotto 190x with a 4 way head.Inspiration
I'm a Navy war veteran, and I took up photography as part of my healing from PTSD, when I saw this sunset it actually took my breath away! I had not seen such colour and beauty in a very long time. So I was very happy I captured that moment.Editing
I took the photo in HDR, I loaded into Lightroom but was so happy with how I saw it that I kept it the way it is.In my camera bag
Well where do I start, i have my camera with kit lens 24-105 f4, CP filters and Variable ND filters ( I love these) canon EF 100mm f2.8 macro USM a Canon EF16-35mm f2.8L II. I also have ( which I got 2nd hand on eBay) a Canon GPS receiver so all my photos are geotagged. Oh and the kitchen sink lolFeedback
Well for me I got on site early and walked around taking different shots in different places, then then sunset started right where I was pointing. So I guess find your spot setup and wait.
