Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken at Philip's Animal Garden, Aruba

Time

I remember the time it was around 12noon after i'm done all my other appointment regarding my working permit here in Aruba, i decided to go back at this place for the third time.

Lighting

Since it was during noon time i just set my cam in auto mode.

Equipment

This was shot on a Canon Rebel t4i, 18-55mm lens my almost 4 years old cam.

Inspiration

This was my third time go there because i failed to see the peacocks spreading their feathers/tails. I do have a lot of peacock's picture but none of them with an opened tail. By the third time i was so lucky to see the beauty of peacock with their opened tail. When i saw the outcome it's like only a drawing or painting....

Editing

I just do the B&W then erase the other part to see the original color.

In my camera bag

At that moment, my Canon T4i Cam with 18-55mm lens, i bring sometimes my zoom lens and my fish eye lens but it depends where i go and what my subject i will take.

Feedback

I still considered myself as an Amateur Photographer because i never go to school to study photography. If you know that you had the passion of photography you can easily learn from it. How to take the best angle with your subject. In this particular picture what i did was i patiently waiting my subject to open his/her feather and when i saw it i just click oftenly while im moving my feet closer to my subject. While my subject also start to move turning against me so i had to double the distant of my feet to get more closer to my subject...
