A scrubwood, one of the endemic tree daisies of St Helena Island. St Helena has so many endemic species it has been called The Galapagos of the Atlantic. If taken on an area basis it probably holds more endemic species than the Galapagos Islands. Here a non-native honey bee fits into the ecosystem by adding another pollinator to the islands biodiversity, while also offering a food source for people.
