My mom spent a little over a year battling lung cancer. It finally spread to her brain and throughout the rest of her body. I sat with her for 4 weeks while she was continuing to decline. One of the last times she was coherent I asked if i could take pictures of her. She sort of nodded and I just sat on the couch and shot while my grandma was feeding her some apple sauce. Grandma didn't even know I was shooting so this picture really captures a mother and daughters love. She lived 10 more days after this was taken.
