This is my local chill spot. Friends of mine surf right next to the pier. (not in this picture) This is one of my first long exposure pictures with ND filter. In WW1 the pier was set on fire by german soldiers. Later rebuild. In ww2 The order came to dynamite it again. But was prevented by sergeant Karl-Heinz Keseberg of the german army. who ignored the order to destroy it.
