Than I realized the way light was reflecting off of the dandelion seeds. I thought to myself that I had to shoot whatever I can before this moment was gone forever!Equipment
Sony a7S camera with a Tamron 28/75mm Canon lens and an adapter in between.Inspiration
My eyes are constantly seeking frames that tell a story or I see a story in a frame but very few of those times, I have my camera with me. The things that we didn't see for the longest time in winter were happening all around us once again but felt like this was the first time I was witnessing it. Very exciting time of the year! The way the light was reflecting off of the dandelion seeds had to be captured. At least, I wanted to try and see what I could do with that moment. I thought that this would be a perfect place to enjoy the morning if I was an ant. It was magical!Editing
I have adjusted the over exposure and saturated the colours a little in some frames of those 7 to 13 frames and chose this one. I don't remember off the top of my head what this particular frame has gone through. In my camera bag
I have Sony a7S and a7SMKII, Canon 40D, Canon XSi, Canon 50mm 1:1.8, Tamron (For Canon) 28/75mm 1:2.8, Canon 28/135mm 1:3.5-5.6 IS. Heavy load! Sometimes I take only one camera and couple of lenses with me.Feedback
Choose what to focus in your frame. I choose the dandelion seeds! Light is very important as you will need some room to maneuver during your post-processing. Always shoot raw and double check your settings. Some cameras change settings very easily as clothing or strap rubs against the mode wheel. My other frames either had either the roof of my house or some tree branches. Should I have not noticed due to being over fixated to the flowers, I would have less than what I had in mind. So, the whole frame makes the picture!
