Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Cape Coral Yacht Club on the Caloosahatchee River in Cape Coral Florida.

Time

Time of day was evening as the sun was setting.

Lighting

I did nothing to enhance lighting as the beauty of nature took care of that for me.

Equipment

Nikon D80 with a Nikon DX 18-200mm lens. I used a tripod on this shot.

Inspiration

I am always inspired by the shapes of the clouds and how the light reflects, colors and enriches the sky as the sun sets. I felt the pier was an additional feature to the image.

Editing

No post-processing.

In my camera bag

Tripod, 2 camera bodies and 2 lens, remote timer, rain camera jacket. lens cloth.

Feedback

Pay attention to white balance setting and focus on light and dark objects to obtain color and effects. Shoot a lot of images!
