Location
I was out scouting around on the farm. My cows are my favorite targets. I was actually on my back watching the clouds when she came over to me sniffing around. I lifted the camera up over my head and shot blindly backwards and luckily caught enough of her in frame to crop it.Time
I believe it was later in the day. It was one of those lazy feel good days with crisp air and big fluffy sky.Lighting
I was fortunate that the light was bright enough to really make her pop out off of the skyline.Equipment
Just used my Sony, I think at that time it was a A 300.Inspiration
I try to frame the cows in any situation and at times that means awkward angles. Sometimes it will work, most of the time it is just trial and error. My main goal now is just to have a frame with an interesting backdrop if possible.Editing
I think I did remove hay or grass hanging from her mouth :) and it appears that the clarity was tuned up. And yes, I did crop her into a more pleasant frame. In my camera bag
Nothing special just the two standard lenses in Sony camera package.Feedback
Take lots of bad photos so you can appreciate the one that makes you smile.
