This photo was taken in north wales and features conwy Castle a famous landmark and popular tourist spotTime
It was a evening after my work so the light was fading but I wanted to try and get a decent image anyway.Lighting
The evening light was lovely I tried various filters and edits but chose a black and white finish I thought it had a better feel to itEquipment
It was shot on a Canon eos 1000d with the standard Canon wide angle lens and balanced on the edge of a wall using my beanie hat as a cushionInspiration
It was a place I'd wanted to photograph for a while especially when it's getting dark and there is street/car lightsEditing
I used editing software to tweak the colours slightly for better contrast with a black and white conversionIn my camera bag
I'm lucky to have my camera gear to hand thought I shoot on a mix of a Sony xperia xz1 mobile, Canon eos 1000d and just recently bought a sony alpha a5100Feedback
Take plenty photos accept the funny looks from passers-by as you roll around on the floor or lie on your back taking photos and most of all have fun
