Behind The Lens

Location

Wasilla, Alaska

Time

8pm

Lighting

All natural

Equipment

Nikon D7000 with a tripod

Inspiration

The place was beautiful! I was on a mission trip with a group of my friends. We went to this place & started skipping stones on the water. It was quiet & so peaceful.

Editing

I did a few color enhancements in Lightroom & pumped up the clarity.

In my camera bag

On this occasion, it was just my Nikon D7000 & tripod. I normally do portrait photography with a Canon 5D.

Feedback

When you see something breath-taking. Capture it! Composition & lighting is everything. Try a couple of different view points to see what angle works best. I think stood up & squated low a lot to find the view that I thought was composed best.
