Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a small country town called Oaklands, NSW, Australia and also I'm an amateur photographer.

Time

This photo was taken in the second week of Winter on a nice warm sunny morning. On my way back home I spotted this leaf caught in the fence and had my camera setting is on Aperture and just thinking this is something different for me to do.

Lighting

With natural light, it's the best way to go when you are taking nature pictures.

Equipment

The camera that I use is a Nikon D3200 I love to use Aperture and I never use a tripod as I took the picture handhold and the lens I use was 15 to 50 mm lens.

Inspiration

It was something I have never seen before and I was wondering how did the leaf get caught in the fence. I was thinking wow this be something new for me to try to take and I took some photos of the leaf and this was something I have never taken before.

Editing

I edited my photo in Corel Paintshop as I sharped, curves, clarity and then in the paint section, I use the burn tool which helps to give that little bit browner colour.

In my camera bag

In my bag I have 15 to 55mm lens 50 to 300mm lens for my Nikon camera I also have a lens which does close up also I have 5 spare batteries and 5 spares SD cards. I do have my tripod in my car when I go out if I'm just walking around town I use my bag only.

Feedback

Always look around the area you are taking photos as you never know what you can see. As I spend about 20 minutes in the one area and I look up in the trees or I look bugs. Happy Snapping and thanks for reading about my picture.
