This is my dog Georgie. He lets me do anything I want to him. As long as there's a treat at the end of it.

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my Clapham home living room. The autumn days were getting colder, so George and I were trying out different hats before walkies.

Time

This would have been taken around 5.30pm. I know this as George always loves a late afternoon walk before watching the 6 O’clock news.

Lighting

I love using off camera flash photography, but on this occasion, George insisted on using natural light through the bay windows. I think the flash is too bright for him.

Equipment

This shot was taken on my Canon 650d using a Canon 50mm EF prime lens. I would have used my tripod, but George wanted me to hurry up.

Inspiration

A couple of things inspired me to take this photo. One was the cold weather, and the other is George. He’s such an obedient dog, he’ll let you do anything for a dog snack.

Editing

I usually do a lot of post processing on my compositions, but in this case, not much was done, apart from cropping the image.

In my camera bag

I love using my Canon 5D mkii with my Canon EF USM 24-70mm lens, EF 50mm prime lens, and also my Samyang 8mm Aspherical fisheye lens. Tripod is Manfrotto Compact MKC3-H01. Canon Speedlite 430EXIII-RT Yongnuo YN622C E-TTL Wireless Flash Trigger Transceiver x2 SanDisk Extreme 32GB / 120MB/s UDMA 7
