Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at Don Heads in Devonport Tasmania, on the foreshore on a very windy and wild day

Time

10.30am in the morning I took the shot

Lighting

All natural light was used even though there wasnt much, but told my niece not to move and set up a longer exposure than normal.

Equipment

Canon Eos 1DS Mk3 with the Canon 17mm - .40mm

Inspiration

My niece and nephew were playing around and i just thought of the Charon in Mythology the ferryman who took the dead to Hades.

Editing

Not much processing, the skull was a mask I had, but she wasnt wearing it at the time, i edited it in later.

In my camera bag

Now usually I have in my camera backpack a Canon 5DS - canon 200mm Lseries lens, 17 -40mm lens - tamron 90mm macro, canon 560 ex2 flash a 50mm lens a Sigma 500mm lens, 2x converter and a lightmeter,

Feedback

Let your imagination run wild, if you cant get what you want in the shoot, aim at getting it when on computer editing using your other stock photos.
