Behind The Lens

Location

This is called Child's glacier in Cordova Alaska, I took that on a hike through the chaguch trail last year in Alaska, The ice was frozen solid and made for great ice skating.

Time

This was taken around 10 a.m. and it was 32 degrees outside. This was my first experience with Alaska, and the beautiful mountains of Cordova

Lighting

This picture has not been photo shopped at all, it is a raw picture, just the natural beauty, only in Alaksa, the mountains are so breathtaking.

Equipment

I used my Camera a Canon EOS Rebel T5 and a 75-300mm Lens, no flash.

Inspiration

The beautiful Mountains of Cordova inspired me to want to take this picture, along with several others, and to have a piece of my nursing adventure. As a travel nurse, I get to see many beautiful places, however, I feel that Alaska is the most inspirational, and picturesque place to photograph.

Editing

I never processed this picture, it is as it was taken, no photo shop and no processing were done.

In my camera bag

The equipment i usually have in my bag is my camera of course, and two lens, a 75-300mm, lens and a 18-55mm lens, I don't have a tripod yet, nor do i have any other equipment as of yet, but I'm working on it, and I'm just learning how to use my camera.

Feedback

Waiting for the right time to take that special picture is important. The timing is everything with landscape photography, to catch the right light and shadows, and it is also important to read the manual as well, haha!!!
