Behind The Lens

Location

San Diego waterfront.

Time

Middle of the afternoon. My husband and I were exploring the area and we came upon these really interesting sculptures. I was captivated by all the glass and the drama against the blue sky. I wanted to create a photo that would capture attention and have a "leading line".

Lighting

It was bright sunlight but I did manage to capture a nice glow on the glass.

Equipment

Nikon D80 hand held. This is an older photo of mine, lens not sure? Which now if you asked me, I would have remember the camera-lens-all info.

Inspiration

Colour and the shape - I really love this photo.

Editing

Very little, crop and a little sharpening.

In my camera bag

Well now it's very different. I have switched over to Fuji and LOVE it. I was tired of lugging around a heavier camera and lenses. I shoot with a Fuji XT1 body - 35mm (50) f2 prime - 16mm (24) 1.4 prime, fantastic lenses and camera.

Feedback

carry your camera with you ALL the time and try to shoot a little every day. You never know what you will find and what will inspire you. DO NOT try and be like anyone else, do what makes you happy!!!!
