Location
I’m an amateur, self taught photographer, and this is one of my favorite photos. I took this while working in Idaho, a bit off the beaten path was a beautiful lake. Although I took several photos that day, this one of the mountain stream is absolutely my favorite.Time
Picture was taken mid afternoon, I was at the area the day before and lost my sunglasses, the light was perfect for the shot.Lighting

The beautiful mountains as a backdrop for the mountain stream was my inspiration for this shot. I was able to capture both the calmness of the stream the turbulence of the the water in the same shot.Editing
