Our first trip to Hawaii and we could not wait to get to Haleakala National Park to hike the Crator. It was a six hour hike with a diverse ecosystem. We went through sun, wind, rain and fog all in one day. Saw moon like landscapes to wildflowers and lush green fern and ending it all with a rainbow that seemed close enough to touch.
