Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo where the depths of my creativity started. In my art studio.

Time

I took this photo in the middle of the day when the sun was at its peak.

Lighting

The lighting was just perfect that day. A room full of Windows and the suns natural glow made the shot worth taking.

Equipment

For this shot I only used my IPhone 6s camera. I had yet to get a camera yet but it was right around when I started taking pictures a lot more.

Inspiration

I have always loved art and photography, so I decided to bring the two together. I have always worked with artsy things and I just couldn't pass up this shot.

Editing

When I took the shot I moved the jar of pencils to the part of my desk with the suns natural glow. After the shot was taken I did no editing.

In my camera bag

Now in my bag I usually have my camera: a Nikon D3200, a 55 mm lens, an old digital camera, specifically an Olympus C-3020, and an old film camera which happens to be a Bell & Howell 35J.

Feedback

Never doubt yourself. Take the shot not matter what and have a lot of confidence in yourself. Tell yourself that you can do it no matter what and don't compare yourself to others. Do your own thing and never doubt it. The right lighting and focus can go a long way with a shot like this.
