Location
Perth, Scotland. Standing on the South Street bridge over the river Tay looking over towards Tay Street and Smeaton's bridge.Time
This was taken in the early evening around 19:00 as the sun was beginning to set for the day.Lighting
I loved the reflections on the water which was almost glass like.Equipment
Nikon D40x, on a tripod, ISO 100, F9 aperture priority mode.Inspiration
I had been out taking photos all afternoon and this was almost my last shot of the day, it was one of those..... just one more shots when you can't quite drag yourself away.Editing
I did a little post processing in light room playing with the levels but other than that not much else.In my camera bag
I don't have a great deal of kit and I tend to buy quality second hand kit to keep costs down. I have upgraded to a Nikon D7100, I have Manfrotto 290 dual tripod, a nikon 35mm f1.8, a tamron 10-24mm f3.5 -4.5, Nikon 18-135mm3.5-5.6ED, Tamron 70-300mm f4-5.6 A lee Big stopper, Polariser filter and a cheap flash gunFeedback
go out and enjoy yourself, take lots of images and each time you come back you'll learn something new about your kit and your techniques. I also like learning through youtube forums of new and informative techniques to improve my photography
