Location
I took this photo in my parents garden after a shower of rain. I liked the symmetry of the drops of water and focused mainly on the middle droplet.Time
This picture was taken early afternoon, a time in the day i dont normally bother too much with. If the sun is out at this time during summertime it is normally too strong but on this occasion the day was over cast.Lighting
I got the angle of light to fall across the leaves to show depth in the water droplets.Equipment
This was taken on a simple vodafone smart ultra phone with no other equipment.Inspiration
I love the way rain looks when it falls on plants and on this occasion the droplets drew the viewers eye through the picture making it rather pleasing to look at.Editing
I often do slight adjustments to my images if i have done maybe a wedding or portrait shoot but when doing nature, landscapes etc i like to leave the image totally natural.In my camera bag
I have a large camera bag which holds my Canon 5D mark 1 camera. I have various lenses mainly Sigma as they are slightly cheaper but in my opinion as good as the more expensive Canon lenses. I have a telephoto lens 70-200mm with a 2x converter for farther distances, a 10-20mm wide angle,Feedback
When capturing leaves i always try to look for vibrant colours usually younger leaves on a plant. Water is always a nice accompaniment for a more natural look .
