It was an afternoon shot. I took it at around 3 or 4 o clock.Lighting
It was all natural light that I used, since I really like to work with what I have, as I don't prefer using any help if it's not necessary.Equipment
I used a Canon EOS 7D Mark II with a Canon 50 mm f/1.8Inspiration
The whole inspiration thing came from a bright idea after I was asked to shoot a series for a fashion portfolio. I was absolutely inspired by the location and the dress itself. Having made it up all in my mind it was an easy task to work with a great person.Editing
I usually don't like using heavy image post-processing on my works. However I like experimenting with different colors and techniques in order to achieve what I want or what I imagined. It was the case here as you can see, I used some personally experimented color presets.In my camera bag
What I always like to have with me is my camera of course and my "nifty fifty", the Canon 50 mm f / 1.8 in and a Samyang 14 mm f/2.8 in my Lowepro backpack.Feedback
The only advise I would like to give is that you should have a well-shaped concept in your head about what you want and to try bringing the emotions to the surface. A technical advise would be that try shooting wide open and look for the symmetry in any possible situation as it is always pleasing to the eye! :)
