Location
I took that photo in Ivory Coast West Africa. I was wandering around on the side of a river bed, looking for some wildlife and birds. When I saw some "orpailleurs" looking for some gold in the river.Time
mi afternoon, just when the time is starting to be less hot and the light of the sun not too high in the sky.Lighting
this probably one of my favorite images and I can remember it because of the stunning light of that very time of the day. Not too high and bright not too low and dark...just perfect.Equipment
I used my Canon 5DMK3 and my 400mm lens f/2,8mm for that photo...and guess what...for that very picture I was hiding and they didn't see me coming and taking it. Only after I came below and met them in the river.Inspiration
At first I wasn't really looking for any pictures of them. Like I said, I was looking for some wildlife to photograph. Oly when I saw that particular light and scenery I thought something was happening.Editing
Not much being honest, the light really help me for it.In my camera bag
Always have my 400mm, (Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM or Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L IS USM) eventually a shorter lens like Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM. I also always something for macro purposes, like my Canon EF MP-E 65 mm HMacro or Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM.Feedback
mmm follow the light, there is no secret, just be there, snap the instant :)
