This picture was taken In the middle of the day (after nap time). I was taking family photos for Easter and we wanted the perfect lighting.Lighting
I used all natural lighting! I took this picture outside at an angle so the light would shine on my daughters head.Equipment
I used my wonderful Cannon EOS Rebel T3i with my 18-55mm lens. I didn't need a flash or any other equipment. I don't have much equipment because photography is a hobby of mine I am growing in. I love to share my pictures and I hope I can inspire people who don't have fancy equipment to be creative and share their masterpieces!Inspiration
This was a candid shot. The kids were itching to go outside but they weren't allowed to until everyone was ready. I had taken my girls outside to do separate pictures and my daughter went up to the window where her cousin was watching her from the inside. Both girls put their hands on the door so I wanted to capture the moment.Editing
I didn't do too much processing. I used the raw image and touched it up but that is it.In my camera bag
I always have my 18-55mm lens and my 75-300mm lens in my camera bag. I find I use my 18-55mm more often than my 75-300mm because I enjoy close-ups.Feedback
My advice would be to always have your camera at the ready! The world around us is a beautiful and magical place. You never know what you will see if you just look. I would also suggest always taking multiple pictures of the same subject from different angles, then choosing the picture that shows the most character.
