Location
The photo was taken in Boracay island of Philippines. I believe that in every corner of the world there's a unique sunset.Time
I remember sitting on the sand after wading along the seashore and decided to wait for the sun to set. It was on May 07, 2016 at 6:12 pm (Philippine time) to be exact. It was the moment I wanted not to miss that's why I brought my camera with me. Even though on that very moment I am a bit worried that the photo might not be good at all, that it can be blurry or shaky due to it was handheld capture photo.Lighting
I could not tell any for lighting effects from the photo. But all I know from that moment when I was capturing this photo, it's the most perfect beauty of nature. The natural light from the setting sun gives vibrant color and contrast to the sky.Equipment
This photo was shot on Canon 60D with 50mm 1.8stm lens.Inspiration
The great wonders of the earth always inspire me to take photos like this. The natural beauty of nature that strikes me and reminding me to be grateful. As I was staring from a distance, that very moment gives me tranquility, peace and joy.Editing
Aside from adding watermark, I removed a small portion of human silhouette and added a little percentage of vibrance and saturation. In my camera bag
I normally bring with me my canon 60d body with the 50mm 1.8stm lens for it is very compact and lightweight, yet still robust and well designed, which is still also provides excellent quality photos. Then my samsung s6 android phone which I use to get a wider perspective of a picture.Feedback
If you also believe that "patience is a virtue", then worry less when you take landscape photo similar to this. It takes a good timing, when you think that a moment is perfect then don't hesitate to aim and shoot. Also, for me it applies to be open minded, seeing different perspectives on things are something, not nothing. Lastly, have a little of creativity, when someone knows how to visualize a certain moment, angle, and etc... having pictures on your mind help you to get a nice and different point of views on the surrounding and the subject on your photographs.
