Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken from Japan. From the famous Osaka Castle.

Time

Taken in the morning around 11am

Lighting

The light was not much intense as there were shades of trees.

Equipment

Used canon Power shot SX 50 HS camera

Inspiration

This flowers are called cherry blossom. These are seasonal blooming. The spring season of Japan is also called Sakuara Season. The tree is often called sakura trees. They are in pale pink colour.

Editing

Just corrected the shadow and highlight.

In my camera bag

I have my Canon Powershot SX50 and Canon 5DMark 4 with 24-70 2.8 along with a couple of vintage manual lenses USSR made Helios and Japan Made Pentax lenses.

Feedback

Seasonal blooming are good to capture. It will be good if we can snap them during their peak blooming time . Then during early morning in golden hours they look great. Wide angle from a top to get a birds eyes view will look great, so that we get a vast coverage of these blooming. Then the fallen flowers on the ground are also great.
