This tree marks the site of a homestead in Wyoming long deserted. Just like the homestead, this stump is wasting away, soon to be forgotten.

My great Uncle Frank's homestead, almost 100 years old, left to the waste away. Such a shame.

Often wonder what caused this tree to grow like that.

The star lily is known to only grow in the western United States. This trio is on an old homestead site in Wyoming.
