Check out this little fella. I was told what type of bird he was but at the time of uploading i have forgotten.

I was told by a friend that this is indeed a large tortiseshell butterfly. Found him chilling in my back garden.

Grabbed a shot of my uncle whilst he was out metal detecting. The trees and grass frame the shot nicely.

I had a go at macro with this little fella. My bridge camera just doesnt have the sharpness i want sadly.
