Behind The Lens

Location

This photo is taken in my old apartment, showing how eating disorders looks by a selfportrait of me. I took this photo of myself summer of 2016. .

Time

I woke up in the morning and decided to share my life with eating disorders and my love for tattoos. So I decided to take a picture of myself, to open up a world very few knew about.

Lighting

It is all natural lightning from the window, blue skies and sunshine through my window.

Equipment

I actually used my phone, and iPhone at the moment. Since I did not have my camera at hand.

Inspiration

I took this photo to help myself recover from 30 years of eating disorders and with a hope to help others. Also wanting to show that tattoos are bodyart and sometimes an escape through pain ending up with something telling my life story.

Editing

I did not do any post-processing.

In my camera bag

I have my phone, since I always carry it with me. I also use a Fuji Polaroid camera, an old analogue Yashica camera and digital cameras if I can borrow one. Sometimes I use a tripod, but mostly for selfportraits.

Feedback

Use objects, or humans that have something close to your heart. If there is something you want to share or help others with. To shine a light on Mental Health, I use myself since it is helping me and hopefully I can help or inspire others to help themselves or others around them.
