This photo was taken in my home town in Kerala, India. The rainy season was the perfect match for my shot. I am a beginner, self taught photographer and each shot that I take gives me more broader perspective on my next shot.Time
It was about 6:30 AM, after the midnight rains, the weather was intact and the dew was set on thin grasses. I wanted to capture the glimpse of the early sunrise on the dew drops on the thin grass but it didn't come out perfect. It was then that I got hold of the plantain leaf with rain drops of last night, it was a perfect shot for me.Lighting
I wanted to make the picture look warm, and wanted the audience to understand that the slightest rays of the early sunrise has the power of spreading warmth in our lives ,with its rays spread out on the leaf and the glimmering effect of the rays on the rain dropsEquipment
This was shot on Canon Camera: Canon EOS 1200D Aperture: f/7.1 ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/400 Focal Length: 50/1Inspiration
Its always Nature that inspire me because every aspect of nature has a story to speak out. This was one of them. For me the plantain leaf, rain drops and the early sunrise was plain suggestion, that everything is perfect in creation.Editing
No, I didnt do any post-processing. Since its Nature photography it came out well, yes sun light did it all.In my camera bag
Well I always carry my 50mm lens for specific nature potraits and yes since im a beginner its always the 25-55mm in my bag. My equipment's always give me the confidence to capture whatever nature offers me. I hope someday from beginner I become a Pro.Feedback
Patience, perseverance and planning. As a beginner one must always follow these three rules. And yes always follow your passion to cover new areas.
