I took this macro photo of the family cat, named Spooky. The reason he is named spooky is that he was a stray cat that my wife took a liking to and survived an encounter with a car. What is even spookier about him is that he managed to melt the heart of a confirmed cat hater. Part of that is the fact that he survived the car, the vet surgery, loss of an eye and still runs off any other stray cats or dogs that venture into his property.
