"A Surfer's Prayers" I was taking photos of Diamond Head when this man appeared in front of me with his surfboard. Reverently, he put his surfboard under his arm. I was honored to witness his 2 minute ritual before he hit the waves. I heard his prayers...as he bowed several times I imagine he was praying to the "Gods" for his safety and to the waters for their kindness before he ventured out. Lucky to have experienced this very moving, spiritual moment. Amongst this work craziness, you need these types of moments to keep your sanity.
