Indian Ringneck parrots are also known as Rose-ringed Parakeets. Both males and females look very similar; however, the males have a black ring around the neck. This ring is highlighted with turquoise, pink, and blue. Because these parrots are mostly green, they are very difficult to see during roosting or perching in trees. These birds are truly masters at talking, having the ability to mimic human speech.
