Behind The Lens

Location

This picture was taken at a place called Buttermere Lake in the Lake district in Cumbria England, it was shot from the top end of the lake which is about a mile from the actually village of Buttermere. It was taken in October last year.

Time

My wife and i had set out for the day to explore the Buttermere area. We set out to walk around the lake just before 11-30 so this shot was taken at about 12 to 12-15.

Lighting

To be totally honest i shot the picture in both colour and B/W, the colour one was a good shot, but as u can see i much preferred the B/W image, i think it gives a much more dramactic effect to the hills and lake.

Equipment

It was shot on an I phone 6 camera phone nothing fancy like i have now.

Inspiration

The inspiration for the picture is just the amazing countryside of the lake district, there are shots like this to had at all of the many lakes in the area.

Editing

No post processing except to run through the effects on the phone, if i remember correctly it just the dynamic effect setting on the camera phone.

In my camera bag

At the time i did not have a camera, dslr or the like. Just the i phone.

Feedback

Sorry Cannot give any advice as this was a simple point and shoot.
